The Centre is a lifeline to all of us

Eileen, Service-User
Since our registration with the Care Inspectorate we have been able to provide additional personal support to some of our service users.

Our aim is to prevent unmet personal care needs from becoming a barrier that would exclude individuals from participating in activities and avoid social isolation. This could be within their own homes, where they need support before coming to the Centre or whilst attending activities either within the Assynt Centre or wider local community. Personal Care services include a wide range of personal care tasks, e.g bathing, toileting and personal hygiene.

If you have personal care needs that may prevent you from using any of our services and want to discuss our support options with us please get in touch! We are currently, on most weekdays at capacity for supporting service users with personal support needs, but we will always aim to find a solution if we know of somebody in need.

Community Care Assynt’s Personal Support service is registered with and regulated by the Care Inspectorate. We underwent our first inspection in July 2015 and are very proud of our achievements. The full inspection report can be accessed here
